Roar TV Program
Roar TV for the McComb School District is a broadcasting program created for student to experience media jobs within a work based vocational class. At the McComb Business and Technology CTE Center, you will not be made to pour through boring and obsolete textbooks or endure endless, tedious lectures by people who have never worked in the Media Industry. Students partisupating in the Digital Media II program will work as members of the Roar staff as well as becoming members of the Student Television Network.
The Digital Media instructor and onsite manager for the Roar program has over 2 years experience in the video game industry and is working hand and hand with industry specialist to provide a unique learning environment.
All mentors for the program will also have a long list of credentials inside the media industry.
At the McComb Business and Technology CTE Center, Students will receive a practical education, with lessons derived from real-world situations. Much of their educational experience will be hands-on. Students will work in every aspect of media from concepts to production and even marketing. Students will also be given the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job-practical experience by interning in the real world, working along side industry professionals
